Who's behind cœur kai

Anne Loquineau (b.1996) is a Franco-Chinese ceramic artist creating porcelain pieces at the intersection of fashion, design, and contemporary art. Glazes act as a color palette for her art, producing surfaces that evoke mineral paintings or reptilian skins. She likes to create colorful, tactile, and deeply expressive pieces.

She uses the symbol of the dragon, to embody strength and balance, while also reflecting the artist’s bicultural identity.

Each piece is handmade in porcelain clay from Jingdezhen. They are all individually carefully crafted by the artist, as a testament to time, skill, and care required to bring a porcelain sculpture to life.

Based in Paris, Anne travels regularly to Jingdezhen, inspired by her roots and the city’s rich porcelain traditions.
